Thanks to the German Federal Government, which burdens online retailers with a considerable amount of additional work.
Value added tax (VAT) will change from 19% to 16% and from 7% to 5% for six months. Deadlines would be July 1.7.2020st, 1.1.2021 and January XNUMXst, XNUMX.
But how do Shopware operators solve it so that there is no long downtime and the invoices are created correctly?
I came across this in the Shopware Forum (post here) to the following plugin providers: galvezgil.com
He writes on his website
Shopware 5 plugin for the VAT conversion as part of the economic stimulus package On June 03.06.2020rd, 19, the German federal government decided on a package of measures that, among other things, provides for the temporary change of VAT rates. The regular tax rate will change from 16% to 7% and the reduced tax rate will change from 5% to 01.07.2020%. The change is only valid for a limited period from July 01.01.2021st, 0 to January 0st, 5 at midnight. Two changes in the tax rates are therefore necessary. This must be done punctually at midnight, also to ensure that no invoices are created with incorrect tax rates. The Shopware XNUMX plugin we are currently developing will automatically change the tax rates on the two key dates. There will also be the option of automatically converting the net prices so that the gross sales prices do not change.
I have already signed up for the newsletter and am eagerly waiting for it to appear. I will record a test/first impression and announce it here.

Otherwise, I like to spend my time in nature and sometimes hang out on the PC, with a cozy round Civ or Star Citizen, away. A series is also often sought after on the couch in the evening.
