What is this article about

I've had the opportunity to talk extensively with Tutkit.com too busy. tutkit? But what is that? I didn't know this platform either, but the first click made it clear that I wouldn't get bored in the next few days.

Tutkit is divided into tutorials, assets, templates and theme worlds. And best of all, everything in German.

Two points in particular were of interest to me. This affected the area Tutorials CMS & Web and Assets Brushes & Photoshop Actions*.

* I already knew this from before PSD tutorial. With daily logins you got points and could download content accordingly.

Of course, we will take a closer look at all areas here.

Tutorials

The tutorials are divided into online marketing, office, visual design, illustration & vector, raw & photo editing, clipping, retouching, composing & artwork, layout & printing, 3D & animation, audio & video and CMS & web.

Wow... plenty of material and most of the spades are extremely interesting to me. Where do I start? SEO… oh god my hate topic. But why not take a look: With search engine optimization to the top - SEO for beginners.

This could definitely help me for my blog.

A clean structure, I like that!

As soon as a suitable topic has been found, the playback window opens and to the right of it all other suitable videos of the selected series. A definite plus for me. Better than YouTube.

Assets (media content)

As already mentioned, I was already through PSD tutorial so download some actions and brushes. Photoshop actions transform a simple image into a great work of art with just a few clicks. Almost like the apps on the cell phone, but only much better!

But it doesn't stop with the actions.

This area also includes a lot of material: mockups (a demonstration model, also display model), vector graphics & illustrations, textures & overlays, 3D, video & animations, brushes, presets and, as already described, Photoshop actions.

With just a few clicks, you can turn your pictures into small works of art. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes. The photo selection took the longest. Here is the photo of the Schlosshotel in Rühstädt. This was created in January 2022.

You shouldn't take a closer look at the middle, I quickly removed the vehicle there, just like the two other vehicles right next to the house.. 🙂 Photoshop offers an ingenious and simple function for this.

Templates

Most often, I create birthday cards for my family and friends. Mostly in freestyle. The templates on Tutkit.com are ideal for this. In the following example, I downloaded a template for a sports voucher and adapted it for a small test.

In my case I use the Photoshop file, but Word would also have been possible:

Themed worlds

I found it very well structured and very helpful.

The theme worlds are divided again as follows:

Under Birthday & Anniversary you will find suitable design options, such as templates for birthday cards, sayings for congratulations, balloon pictures, butterflies as overlays and so on.

Membership

There are three subscription models. Starter, Premium and Business. Starter is interesting for those who want to maintain their personal portfolio.

When it comes to commercial use, there is no getting around the premium package. For a price of around €25 per month, you really can't complain. Video tutorials are possible at any time and 25 individual packages and 5 complete packages can be downloaded for your projects.

New content is also published weekly.

In comparison, a 2-day seminar for SEO alone costs around €900.
