Easter and John

John settles down. Next to him the woman in rosé with a hat the size of a trapeze. It's Easter and Johann has been out in the park for an hour to find the promised Easter egg. He's heard that there are other competitors, but he hasn't met anyone yet. He doesn't even know if the surprise is actually an egg.

The park fills and empties and Johann is slowly getting tired. He only had breakfast and then left. He also didn't think to bring anything to drink. His legs would like to be up high and his feet out of his shoes. But whenever he wants to start his way home, something catches his attention.

A moment ago it was the woman with the trapeze on her head, now it's a person in a rabbit costume holding two children. He follows the three of them as a matter of course until they have disappeared behind a thick oak tree and then his gaze falls on a gigantic egg standing in the middle of the lawn. It rises at least five meters into the sky and shines snow-white in the midday sun. Johann slowly approaches while the spit in his mouth no longer wants to obey him. His gaze sticks to the thing. It is Easter.

He almost begins to sneak the last few meters, as if afraid that the egg might run away. He stops abruptly, didn't he just hear noises coming from inside the egg? Now ten steps separate him and a hoarse giggling can be heard unmistakably... And then a whopping, a jubilation!

And Johann….. tears run down his face from laughter, his upper body rocks like a swing while he slaps his thighs in delight. On the way home, he amuses passers-by because he can't stop laughing.
