When I was looking for meat alternatives, I came across this recipe on YouTube. Along with steamed potatoes and gravy, it was a very tasty meal.

I wouldn't have guessed that.

It's also quite simple and easy to prepare. The leftovers were even tasty the next day. *cold* 🙂

Zucchini are peeled and scored with a fork

Then cut the courgettes into slices and rub them with salt and pepper

let rest for about 10-20 minutes

Once the flour / breadcrumbs and cheese breading

Here 150g breadcrumbs and 50g wheat flour were mixed. For the breading crumble cheese, three eggs and spices. The exact recipe list is available in the YouTube video linked above.

Fry each side with the lid closed for about 4-5 minutes
