So far our pool has always tipped over. The water kept turning green. This year seems to be different. Brilliantly clear water so far.
But what had I done differently this year? It already started with the construction.
This time wooden floor, tarpaulin and fleece. All purchased from Amazon (* affiliate links):
I put two ball valves between the pool and the sand filter system so that I can easily change the balls without water flowing against me.
Although these taps are not exactly cheap, they are definitely worth it.
I change the filter balls about every three months. Let the used ones dry, knock them out roughly and then put them in a laundry bag and into the washing machine.
Danger! According to the manufacturer, backwashing with filter balls should be avoided.
As a small highlight then a battery vacuum robot. So the floor is always nice and clean.
So far I only needed two things for pool maintenance. One 200g multitabs and flock cartridges.

Passionate "phone clipper". Currently with mine Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. A great phone with XNUMX TB of storage. Lots of space for experiments. My favorite subjects are plants, Eat & drink, animals, Buildings and Landscapes.
Otherwise, I like to spend my time in nature and sometimes hang out on the PC, with a cozy round Civ or Star Citizen, away. A series is also often sought after on the couch in the evening.
