The Dodo Hunt scenario from the Deep Jungle expansion of Freebooter's Fate was played on March 6, 2020. Hellfighter with his brotherhood against my hungry impala. In a district of Longfall the dodos are loose and everyone smelled the big bucks. How and why did dodos roam in Longfall? The Brotherhood rallied to the northeast of the Trade District,
while the Imperial Armada patrolled the marketplace.

The first dodos were killed.
The brotherhood was able to hunt down the first dodos quite quickly and killed several of the tasty birds in the first few rounds.
The imperial troops went there a bit hesitantly on the hunt and tried to take two key positions, which didn't really work out. Because the brotherhood was clearly better off in terms of terrain and was able to secure two good positions for the crossbowmen.
Alejandra quickly panicked and almost fled from the game. Jamon Borodino, on the other hand, took the first hits as he charged from the market stalls towards the forge.
Piccina and Adombra were able to hold the approaches almost single-handedly, so that the rest concentrated on the dodos or stormed into close combat. Tronco was doped with potions by the dottore in advance and threw in a good trowel, so that Capitan Leon was only on the pitch with one life point for the time being.
Tronco still fell after Alejandra still dared to do something and was supported by an Asaltores.
Senor Nefando was not a pleasant fellow either, but he was at a disadvantage compared to the crowd. He fell after an attack by the Asaltores, aided by the Mastin's claws.
Conclusion
Victory for the Brotherhood on points! But the dodo hunt was really fun. We had to adapt the scenario to the new 2.0 rules, but I think it worked quite well with a 90×90 cm playing area and 12 dodos.
I'm already looking forward to the next hunt! But next on my wish list is the scenario "Give me your pants!" from the Tales of Longfall #4 (Vive la Debonn!) expansion.
